Cutting Nextion PCB to fit the display size?

Are there any hidden signal tracks in the left and right side of the Nextion PCB (I mean that part of the PCB that is visible when looking at the Nextion display)?

I would like to put the Nextion in a case with slim borders, and as such I would like to make the PCB as small as the display. I will remove the 4-pin-connector before cutting the PCB, of course. And then simply solder the wires.

in no case a good idea ...

even there are maybe no hidden tracks, but cutting may cause damage at other areas like hairline cracks because of physical stress ...

there is a reason for the "space" around ...

I agree that mechanical stress can damage the PCB/solder pads, and it must be handled with care. I'd cut a straight line with a knife again and again until it falls into two parts.

To me it looks like the reason for the space are the 4 mounting holes, and that's it.

if you are sure, no need to ask ... :-)

I only can repeat, it is no good idea ...

    - the risk is on your side ...
    - no warranty in any case anymore ...

I asked because I cannot look in the PCB for hidden layers...

me neither ...

Nextion displays are closed source, therefore no such information is available for public ...

so, the better and save strategy for your display is, let it as it is ...
