Can I use LM2576 5V to power supply for Nextion NX8048T070 7 HMI

I make a project and I want to recommend about to use LM2576 5V to power supply for Nextion NX8048T070 7 HMI. Please tell me know it is good or not? Thank you so much.

according to the datasheet, the LM2576 can deliver up to 3A ... correct heat-sink used, it should be more than enough to drive your project ...

anyway, I would recommend to use a 5V fixed output voltage version instead of an adjustable ... this prevent from accidential readjust to a higher voltage which would result in damage your Nextion ...

Yes LM2576 is power supply max 3A, and sure I will use fixed 5V type for the HMI. And I worry about if LM2576 died, the HMI will be broken. How to make fix this case? Thanks!

there is no real protection against ... if a part die, it die ...

the only thing you can do is, use a LM2576 from a well knowen manufacturer, and not a noname one ...
