Send text to Nextion From Pic Microcontroller

Am working on Nextion HMI Interfaced to PIC Microcontroller . I wanted to display some text on Nextion TFT how can i achieve this . Please help me out.

as already told, your question is far too general.


This is no question of your used PIC, but a question of your used programming language and its commands.


Have a look to your used languages command reference


    - serial

    - hardware serial

    - software serial

    - how to config GPIO's as serial

    - how to set serial parameters

    - ...


and according to your used language, there are many examples out how to do serial comminication ...

You may start by reading this thread:

and adapt the Arduino code to your microcontroller language.

I think that the most common issue is sending of 3 bytes with values 0xff  or decimal 255 at the end of each command.
Try using first some Rs232 terminal program (such as Docklight, Teraterm, Bray..) and when you know and test all commands that needs to be send, it is very easy to port that to your microcontroller.

Just reference to element name and add .val if it is variable of .txt if it is the text.
