If you create a Waveform object using the default "dir" property of L to R, it starts drawing points at the left edge and then fills them to the right. When it hits the right edge, all points currently drawn shift left ad new points are added on the right edge. Thi is correct.
But if you select dir = R to L, it *still* starts drawing from the left edge. It then fills the entire graph area until it gets to the right edge and only then begins flowing R to L.
This is WRONG. If R to L is to be the opposite of L to R, it should BEGIN filling at the RIGHT edge and then shift existing points to the left as new points are added.
Once the graph is filled, the behavior is correct. What I'm saying is that the INITIAL fill is wrong. If you select R to L, it should FILL R to L. Right now it fills L to R until the whole graph is full and then it begins scrolling R to L.

"right to left" <> "right align"
Desired functionality exists in firmware already, even if named differently.
Users do not hold right to dictate course of action dev team must take.
The dev team will not rename functions just for the pleasure of one.
(this is, always has been and will remain their sole discretion)
Provoking shall be kept to a minimum on this board, and I state what that is.
BEGIN filling at the RIGHT edge and then shift existing points to the left as new points are added.
This is accomplished with setting dir to right align
