Programming examples

Would it be possible to include programming examples that are written in standard C language rather than ones that are only applicable to either the Arduino or Raspberry Pi? I want to include the display in one of my own projects that uses a PIC.

Hi Rob,

sorry, but the used programming language has nothing to do with your used target MCU.

There is nearly no MCU of any type out, where you can't find any compiler or interpreter of the language of your choice.

Pascal, Basic, C, C++, even Java or Brainfuck is doable, independent of AVR, PIC, STM, or whatever you like to use ...

The ones favorite is Pascal, anothers is C ... sorry, but to cover all special likings is a bit out of scope ... there are just too many 10000's of different combinations between MCU and programming languages out ...

And when the library is designed to run on a PIC16F88, it surely also won't run without changes on a PIC16F826 or a dsPIC ...

A good choice is e.g. Microe with their range of compilers and Examples ...

The better way, we decided to go is, just to publish the real underlaying core commands. So everybody can implement them freely on the platform and in the language he like ...
