Do you know if there's any way to query for current sleep status of the Nextion?
I haven't found anything on the instructions set for this.
When I send "thup=1" (for automatic wake up) and then "sleep=1" (to set sleep mode ON), the device goes successfully to sleep, and when the user touch the screen it turns ON automatically and send the auto wakeup message (e.g. Touch event on sleep mode = 0X68 0X00 0X7A 0X00 0X1E 0X01 0XFF 0XFF 0XFF).
For now, if don't get this wakeup message, I'm stuck in a FSM (finite state machine) which waits for this message to make a transition (here is where I got stucked), what I want to do is periodically poll for sleep status, so I can check if my Nextion still on Sleep Mode, if not the FSM can take the decision to make a transition...
I appreciate your comments and suggestions for this issue.
You could possibly use get thup and get sleep to poll and retrieve their value
Nextion should return 0X71 0X66 0X00 0X00 0X00 0XFF 0XFF 0XFF with numeric values
Thanks Patrick, I'll try that later today.
