convert val to txt

Hello there,

it is possible convert val to txt?
The example here is useless for 300-500 possibilities.
http://blog.iteadstudio.com/advanced-application-2-use-global-and-variable-to-transmit-values-among-pages/#more-3513

Example:
not so

if(va0.val==0)
{
t0.txt="0"
}

that would be better
t0.txt="" //delete text
t0.txt=t0.txt+va0.val //write number in txt

And vice versa. It would be nice to convert text to val (if it's a number). I already asked for this and we hope it will be possible in next versions.

You can.

Just use the "cov" command. It can converts from/to text/number and viceversa.

As @Calvorota said, use "conv" to do such things.

Update

I try to convert number to string:

cov n0.val, t0.txt, 0

 where n0 is number and t0 is text. Not works:

Please, help me: what is wrong?

no space between, and 0

cov n0.val,t0.txt,0

Not suite. Space is presented.

Not works at this case.:

You have space chars in wrong places.  You need:

cov<space>h0.val,v0.txt,0<eol>

yes - the Instruction Set is in error.

The general principle with the instruction set is command<space><all_params_no_spaces><eol>

I am now reviewing all of the Feature Requests, this will take some time, patience please.

Although this wasn't a real feature request, it is now marked as reviewed.
